ÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø

The Wherrett Memorial Fund was established at ÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø as a living memorial to the late Harry S. Wherrett, a former Kokomo High School student whose education was interrupted at the age of 15. Soon thereafter, Mr.Wherrett began work in the local glass plant as an office boy, and, by the time of his death, he had risen to the position of President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the ÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø Plate Glass Company. The purpose of this fund is to provide scholarships for outstanding graduating seniors at Kokomo High School in Kokomo, IN who intend to pursue a Bachelor's Degree. The award is for four years.
