About the 2023 Advancing Black Arts in ÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø grant: This $10,000 grant will be used to support a wellness legacy for Staycee Pearl. In Spring 2024, PearlArts Movement and Sound will move into its new permanent studio in Braddock, after several years of being displaced. Having weathered a pandemic, canceled tours and performances, organizational transitions, kidney disease, dialysis and transplantation, Pearl is well overdue for a Creative Wellness Residency to reset, rest, restore, recover and reorganize.
