Joanne Burley, Ph.D., director emerita, is the retired executive director of the ϲʹ Council on Higher Education, a consortium of colleges and universities in Allegheny County. Previously, she served as CEO/chancellor of the Allegheny Campus -- previously known as the McKeesport Campus -- of Pennsylvania State University. She has served on the board of directors of the Urban League of ϲʹ and is a former Board member of The Forbes Funds. She is a Life Trustee of the Carnegie Library of ϲʹ and previously served as chair of the board of the former Multi-Cultural Arts Initiative. She is a member of the Board of the ϲʹ Public Service Fund and the Beverly Jewel Wall Lovelace Advisory Board.
