We know how important the relationships between professional advisors and their clients are, which is one of the reasons our Development and Donor Services team at ϲʹ and The Community Foundation of Westmoreland County regularly gives presentations that offer support and guidance to advisors working to support clients’ charitable goals and legacy planning.

Invite us to present at your firm

You can invite our Development staff to present for you and your colleagues, whether it’s at a small firm or for a larger professional association. We can share transferable skills and tools and discuss charitable resources at the Foundation that may enhance your work. For example, Senior Director of Development and Director of Donor ServicesKate McKenziespoke to the Estate Planning Council and the Financial Planning Association, presenting alongside a financial planner and an estate attorney. She highlighted how a small team can work together to overhaul a client’s giving plan in a way that reduces taxes and supports causes close to the donor.

In addition, Assistant Director of Development and Donor ServicesAmy Razem, and Senior Development OfficerSara Swaneypresented to the ϲʹ Planned Giving Council on the importance of creating a charitable giving legacy that aligns with donor values. Razem presented at the Westmoreland County Bar Association’s Bench Bar Conference where she demonstrated techniques on values-based discussions, showing how they can deepen the advisor-client relationship and she shared information on how the Foundation can support their clients’ legacy through planned giving.

“Our team welcomes the opportunity to support professional advisors,” Swaney says. “We value our partnerships with them because we know that by working together, we can help individuals and families reach their philanthropic goals and build legacies that will last forever.”
